2009

The Beginning

Marcus Rivera opens the first Costa Vida kitchen in Orem, Utah, serving a small but devoted crowd drawn in by hand-crafted burritos and fresh salsas made from family recipes.

2012

First Permanent Location

Demand grows rapidly. Costa Vida opens its first permanent restaurant at 1621 N State St, Orem — creating a true dining destination complete with a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.

2015

Award-Winning Menu

Costa Vida earns its first regional "Best Mexican Restaurant" award, recognizing the quality of its ingredients and innovation in the menu. James Okafor joins as Sous Chef.

2018

Online Ordering & Delivery

Responding to growing demand, Costa Vida launches its online ordering platform and delivery service — bringing fresh Mexican flavors directly to homes across Orem and beyond.

2021

Community Expansion

Costa Vida expands its community outreach programs, catering local events and partnering with schools and charities. Sofia Delgado joins as Operations Manager, leveling up our service.
